Tenmoku tea cup-Floral blossom glaze
Tenmoku tea cup-Floral blossom glaze
96 hours – a process of alchemy; iron-rich clay receiving the warmth of tea. Each Tenmoku tea cup starts as clay that's been triple-aged, tempered through a process of glaze that has seven layers! After the dragon kiln runs at 1300°C, with the flames fueled by ritualistically feeding it pinewood, the cups will amplify the aroma of tea through the crystalline pattern that holds the title of "Hare’s Fur," as if stardust rests at the obsidian depths. We make many unique glaze combinations and change the culture of the Tenmoku tea cups moving it to become into its own personal vessel in a cultural mediation.
